Preface.

When the thirteen cycles have completed their journey, people will find itself at a crossroads: to sink into the Metnàl, in the last circle of Xibalbà in the presence of Uucub Camé, the lord of the seven dead in the house of the jaguar, or to live a new golden age.

Only thirteen sages can save the people of the world and them from falling in the cave of Colbàn. They are the thirteen custodians of the crystal skull.

They must meet up under the sacred temple of Kukulkán in the cave of Hunahpu next to the cenote of Xbalanque.

From the four corners of the earth they will walk to the sacred temple of the feathered serpent.

If a custodian doesn’t answer the call, then the people will fall into Xibalbà without salvation.

The thirteen custodians had designated when the earth had been created. They have passed down their crystal skulls to the selected successor at the time of their death without distinction of gender or people.

Time is marked by their steps.

When they will get to destination of the sacred temple of Kukultàn they ascend towards the sacrificial stone of the Sun and the Moon to descend into cave of Hunahpu.

They must get together at the same time and sit on the bench with their names.

Nobody knows the identity of the other twelve and everyone ignores who will occupy the golden bench, that of the thirteenth custodian.

On the fifteenth of October 2012 the call came and the thirteen custodians went to the sacred temple of Kukultàn carrying the crystal skull received from their predecessor.

From Mexico, Belize, Yucatán and Guatemala thirteen people walked towards the pyramid of Kukultàn.

One after the other they occupied their seat, waiting for that the thirteenth custodian reachs.

Here’s he! He comes as regal as a god. He sits on the golden bench while everyone lifts up their crystal skull.

The people are safe.

A new cycle of B’ak’tun will begin.
